Happy New Year!! We are very excited to start the new year off with a BANG! We are in the process of redesigning and rebuilding our website, ordering new COLEwebdev gear and taking new photos of our NEW office and of course, us too! We invite all of our enewsletter subscribers to stop by our NEW office anytime you are passing through Eastham, see our new location, say HI, enjoy a hot or cold beverage and some candy or cookies. We are in the office daily, Monday – Friday. If we are not here, we are probably off enjoying lunch or at a client meeting off site. Where are my Domain Names Registered??
Many of you reading this have at least 1 domain name registered under your personal or business name. Knowing where your domain(s) are registered is very important for many reasons:
1) Each year your domain name needs to be renewed, if you are unsure of where your domain name is registered you risk losing your domain name.
2) Each year your domain name(s) will need to have the owner details confirmed. If you are not listed on your domain name(s) as the owner, you will not be emailed.
3) If your email address has changed, you will need to check your domain record and make sure to update the contact information. If your email address is out of date and you have no way to receive old emails, you can lose access and ownership of your domain name(s).
If you are unsure of where your domain(s) are registered, use this link. Type in your domain name and you will be able to view your domain name account details. If the information is incorrect or out of date, be sure to get it updated as soon as possible. If you are unsure of how to edit your domain details, contact us for help.
If you own more than 1 domain name, try to keep them all under one account, this way you do not have to keep track of several domain accounts at different locations.
