From Past to Present: Building a New Website for My Little Island Preschool
Sometimes, life comes full circle in the most meaningful ways. In the late 2000’s, our daughters were just starting their journeys at My Little Island Preschool in Wellfleet. It was a place filled with laughter, creativity, and nurturing guidance—a foundation that left a lasting impression on our family. Fast forward to today, and we’ve been honored to revisit those memories by designing and building a brand-new custom WordPress website for this wonderful preschool.
As a family-run business at COLEwebdev, projects like this are particularly special. My Little Island Preschool has been a cornerstone of the Wellfleet community, providing children with a safe and enriching environment to grow and explore. When they reached out to us for a website redesign, we knew it was an opportunity to give back to a place that had once meant so much to our family.
The goal was to create a website that reflects the preschool’s warmth and playful energy while being functional and easy to use for parents. The new website includes updated features like a mobile-friendly design, clear navigation, and easy access to essential information like online enrollment, programs, schedules and the preschool’s mission. We also incorporated vibrant imagery and a cheerful color palette that captures the spirit of My Little Island Preschool.
Working on this project wasn’t just about building a website—it was about building a connection between the past and the present. It’s been incredible to see how My Little Island Preschool has continued to thrive and nurture new generations of Wellfleet families.
