World Oceans Day is celebrated on June 8th each year. Started in 2002, this day important to everyone around the World. Celebrating our oceans and helping to protect them. Since the ocean connects everyone together it is very important that we keep them clean and find new ways to use lest waste. To help marine animals and to clean the water we ALL drink.
Here on Cape Cod we are surrounded by water on all 4 sides. The ocean means a lot to everyone who lives here. Many of the local businesses rely on the ocean for their daily lives. Whether you are a fisherman, a restaurant , biologist or a consumer of seafood, we all want a clean and healthy ocean.
